Linda Torres-Rangel, Principal
Entering her 24th year in Irving ISD, Linda Torres-Rangel will serve the district in a new capacity as Principal of Pierce Early Childhood School.
“I am eager to collaborate with the dedicated staff at Pierce Early Childhood School to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where our youngest scholars can thrive,” says Torres-Rangel. “Together, we will work to ensure every child receives thesupport and opportunities they need to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. I am passionate about early childhood education and believe that a strong start is crucial for lifelong learning and success.”
With a career spanning nearly three decades, Torres-Rangel has served Irving ISD as Principal of Schulze Elementary School; Director of Bilingual, ESL and Language Services; Director of Language and Parent Services; State and Federal Program Coordinator; and Assistant Principal at Brown, Lee and Barton Elementary Schools. She also worked in Dallas ISD as a Counselor and Bilingual Teacher.
Torres-Rangel earned a Master of Science inCounseling from Texas A&M University - Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Texas A&M University.

Lisa Hill, Assistant Principal
Dr. Lisa Hill is thrilled to be back as a Pierce Panda! She had the honor of being the principal of Pierce ECS during the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years. She is eager to serve as the assistant principal and continue the journey of learning together!
Most recently, Dr. Hill has been the Irving ISD Director of Human Resources. Prior to returning to Irving ISD, she served as a middle school theatre teacher directing student productions and helping teachers implement new social-emotional learning programs. Dr. Hill has also served as the Head of School for North Texas Performing Arts Academy, the principal of a PreK-8th grade charter school in Grand Prairie as well as the principal of Farine Elementary and Piece Early Childhood campuses in Irving ISD. Prior to that, Dr. Hill served as assistant principal at Thomas Haley and Britain Elementary Schools and formerly as an instructional specialist at Townsell and instructional technology specialist at Gilbert. She also taught third, fourth, and fifth grades at Lively and Gilbert.
Dr. Hill received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading and a Master's of Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. After completing a doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University, she served as adjunct faculty preparing future school administrators in the College of Education.
Dr. Hill is a wife, mother, and grandmother and is a huge DISNEY fan! She loves to travel and spend time with her husband producing musical theatre shows with Irving Youth Theatre.
