Our Learning Services team is committed to educating Irving ISD students with equity and excellence. We serve students and empower educators in the areas of curriculum & instruction, gifted & talented services, library and digital resources, bilingual/ESL programming, MTSS, special education services and dyslexia therapy. 

Additionally, we provide support in the areas of research & evaluation and professional learning. We strive to work towards our district mission of ensuring that each student attains intellectual and personal excellence.

  Robin Bayer

Chief Learning Officer

As Chief Learning Officer, Robin Bayer strives with her team to shape the educational landscape of Irving ISD. She is committed to reimagining the future of learning and paving the path towards tomorrow for all students that is brimming with opportunities and promise. 

Bayer has spent 16 of her 19 years in education at Irving ISD. Prior to accepting the position of Chief Learning Officer, she served as Executive Director of Intervention Services and Executive Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). She was also Director of Professional Learning for the district, Principal at Schulze Elementary School for five years, Assistant Principal at Barton Elementary School for two years and 5^th Grade Teacher at Thomas Haley, Lee and Schulze Elementary Schools.

Bayer also taught secondary English/Language Arts and Reading and early childhood theater prior to joining Team Irving.

Bayer earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater from the University of Dallas and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She is working on a doctorate in Educational Administration with a minor in Tech Innovation from Lamar University.
