Student Council Officer Application
Students will NOT be allowed to hold more than one of the following
offices concurrently: Student Council President, National Honor
Society President, or Class President. As an officer, you MUST
attend officer meetings when scheduled even if you have an
internship.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must have an 80 or higher academic average this school year;
employability skills average of 80 or higher this school year, and
no citizenship grade of C or lower.
- Candidates for President must have 2 years of service on the
Executive Council.
- Candidates for Vice President must have 1 year of service on
the Executive Council.
- All other positions require candidates to have been a member
of the Student Council for one year.
Student Council Officer Positions
- The PRESIDENT shall preside at all meetings, call
special meetings, oversee all projects, appoint all committees,
and represent the Student Council on all public occasions.
- The SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT shall perform the duties of
the President in his absence and will serve as general chair of
any activities concerning social functions, and coordinate all
school spirited activities.
- The JUNIOR VICE PRESIDENT shall perform the duties of
the President in the absence of both the President and Senior Vice
President, will coordinate all projects dealing with energy and
environment.
- The SECRETARY shall keep the minutes of all meetings,
keep a record of and attend to all written correspondence,
maintain an attendance record and service points, and coordinate
community and volunteer projects.
- The TREASURER shall have charge of all funds, both
collection and disbursement and shall maintain an accurate record
of all such funds, make a monthly report on financial condition,
and chair of fundraising activities.
- The HISTORIAN must keep a scrapbook of activities,
serve as general chair of publicity and public relations for any
council-sponsored social activities, and issue news concerning the
Student Council.
- The PARLIAMENTARIAN shall monitor the proceedings and
procedures to ensure that the bylaws and constitution are
followed, and will coordinate all projects dealing with drugs,
alcohol, safety, and health.
- The BOARD of DIRECTORS must assist the Executive
Council in the fulfillment of their respective duties and serve as
members of the Standing Committees.
