Welcome to the SECOND ANNUAL Academy EXPO! This year’s
inaugural event will feature a car (and truck) show, craft fair,
public service exhibits, entertainment, food, and, of course, FUN!
EXPO will highlight clubs and organizations from schools and the
community, but will also serve as a resource for providing
information to the community in a FUN arena.

2:00 pm Car Show Awards Announced
4:00 pm EXPO ends
EXPO “Boulevard Cruisers” … If you have a classic vehicle, be
sure to register by clicking the “Car Show” button above. Everything
you need to know is provided there including registration fees,
categories, and the all important form. Register early as the price
goes up at the event, and there is only room for 100 vehicles.
EXPO Craft Fair will feature vendors who have handmade
products and will be on display inside the building and even some
will be outside. Click the “Craft Fair” button for more details.
EXPO Entertainment will showcase talent from across the city,
including school and community groups, as well as participants from
Irving’s Friday Nite LIVE teen talent competition. Click
“Entertainment” to submit an application to perform and to see who
is scheduled.
EXPO Food will be booths sponsored by various groups. Each
group will set their own price BUT we will be using tickets. Tickets
will be purchased at the ticket booth. Each booth will set their
price based upon tickets needed for the purchase. At the conclusion
of the event, Irving ISD groups will receive their funds via an
internal transfer. Non-IISD groups will need to have a W-9 on file
and a check will be sent. Click “Food” for more details.
EXPO Games will be handled like the Food group: tickets. Be
sure to have fun activities for the participants, and remember that
all age groups will be in attendance. Click “Games“ for more

EXPO Exhibits will be public service type displays. Space
