Located in the Irving Mall. Show up and have fun. Be sure to sign in so you will earn your point. NHS Points Opportunities: Prom 101: Please show up after school to help organize the event from 3:30 – 6:30 for 1 NHS Point. If you can stay and help for the entire event you can earn up to 2 NHS pts. Algebra Olympics: Happening every Friday in April. Please contact Mr. Hubbard on the third floor prior to each Friday if you plan on helping. 3 hours of help will earn 1 NHS point. He could really use the help for any of you willing to help out. TAKS Tutoring: (opportunity for Seniors) - Earn 2 points for helping out with TAKS tutoring the first three Saturdays of April. Please contact Mrs. Stone to sign up. Times are 9:00am-noon. Teacher Assistance: Contact Mrs. Stone to be assigned a teacher for help. 3 hrs = 1 pt. Outside Service: If you have the ability to help out in the community, that is wonderful. Please have your contact person (adult) sign for your volunteer work. Work must be volunteer only (not paid). 3 hrs = 1 pt. Have your sheet signed. Graduation: You can earn up to 2 points for volunteering at the graduation ceremony. Please contact Mrs. Stone to sign up for helping out. These points will roll over to your senior year. Recycling: Help out with recycling. 3 recycling trips earns 1 point. |
