Partnerships in Education exists to give business and civic communities the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Irving youth. Partners, from small organizations to major corporations, contribute to education at The Academy by sharing expertise and resources. Here are just a few of the countless opportunities that Partners can be directly involved with at The Academy:

Volunteering at The Academy
If you are a business, organization, or individual who would like to volunteer at The Academy, please email Thelma Cantu at tcantu@irvingisd.net or call 972.600.5000 to discuss possibilities.

Each business, organization, or individual will be reviewed and referred to a teacher or area that best matches the applicant’s interests and skills. The Academy will notify the volunteer candidate in person or in writing as to their decision. Student Intern Training Experience
Jack E. Singley Academy is seeking innovative and progressive companies who want to invest in their future workforce. High school seniors who have met the academic and employability skills criteria set by Jack E. Singley Academy are eligible for part-time student internships as early as summer and continuing onto the 2005-06 school year. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to tap into The Academy’s skilled and enthusiastic students!

Academy students concentrate their studies in one career specialization and complete over 300 hours of classroom training in their specialty area. Areas include:
