NEWS: CHESS TEAM TRIO BRING HOME FOUR TROPHIES FROM 75TH ANNUAL SOUTHWEST OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT

The Academy Chess club meets in room#202 on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:35 pm to 3:30 pm. Anyone wanting to play chess may enjoy a fun and challenging game of chess, hosted by Academy Teachers/Club sponsors Mr. McCalip and Mr. Smith. If you do not know how to play our club members or sponsors will gladly teach you. You may contact Mr. McCalip (Room 202) or Mr. Smith (Room 152) with any specific question about chess rules, chess literature, chess software programs, or chess in films and TV episodes or even your own chess related recommendations that you may have for us.
