Goals:
The goal of DECA is to provide students with a career success kit that they can take into their businesses when they graduate.
DECA members are educated about general business strategies and decisions, entreprenuership, and general marketing.
The four values that DECA members show through their work include: social intelligence, civic consciousness, leadership development, and vocational understanding.
Each year, any DECA chapter can choose to participate in a chapter project. A chapter is eligible to choose from the following projects:
- Civic consciousness project
- Creative marketing project
- Free enterprise system
- Learn and earn project
- Public relations project
