I have recieved both Basic and Advanced training sessions an have downloaded the Quiz Manager onto my laptop and AlphaSmarts.

Both trainings were given by Alphasmart Representatives, one of which was Jan Mills. Both offerred excellent ideas and explanations for the hardware and teaching strategies.

I was trained on how to use the hardware by inputing information into the files and how to recieve the information. I was also trained how to give quizzes, tests, and other assessments on the alphasmarts.

1st: What can you do iwth an AlphaSmart Cart? It was exactly what the title said. Very interesting
2nd: AlphaSmart Intermediate. This was somewhat of a "repeat" of the 1st.

I went to the first training and learned the simple operations how to operate the AlphaSmarts. I learned how to make activities on my computer and then download them into their computers automatically. I also learned how to manage some technical difficulties when they came up.

The first training was centered around abilities of the Alpha Smart. The second training focused more on the uses of the Alpha Smart.
