I had no implemnentation problems. The students were given expectations to follow and if they do not, they lose their AlphaSmart for the day and must use paper and pencil. This has discouraged any problems. I do find it time consuming to print off each child's assignment for grading purposes. It seems inefficient.

The biggest problem is the fact that the students are just being introduced to keyboarding in Third Grade. We can only really use it after keyboarding otherwise we are reinforcing bad habits of keyboarding.

Getting my students comfortable with using the AlphaQuiz has been a hurdle. When we use them for spelling tests, many students end up on the wrong question, and it alters their grade with AlphaQuiz grades it. Also, showing the children how to hook up their AlphaSmarts to the computer to print has taken some time.
