DCHHS Swine Flu Health Alert

We are asking for your assistance in educating your staff and public regarding this public health threat. Please distribute the attached information to your administrators, parents and students.

Dallas County Health and Human Services is actively involved in investigating and looking for potential cases of swine influenza infections occurring locally. At this time, we have three probable cases of swine influenza in Dallas county and are following up with confirmation testing. We are working with key partners including the Centers for Disease Control, the Texas Department of State Health Services in this investigation. DCHHS is alerting all responding partners, agencies, schools, day cares, colleges and universities in Dallas County.
