| Visit Bowie's
Parent Center |
Bowie Middle School Parent Center,
located next to the Attendance Office, is staffed each Thursday,
from 8 am to 4 pm. (Check with the front office for other days). The
Parent Center is equipped with four computers for Parent use only,
for purposes of tracking student grades and attendance, as well as
employment or other parental related searches.
- Parents may view their student's grades and attendance on
the Parent Center computers. Mr. Brock, Parent Center volunteer,
will assist in creating an account for "Parent Connection".
Parents may also view their student's grades through Student
Connection with the student username and password.
Identification is required to view any student information.
- Visitors may view/collect information regarding work
available within the Irving ISD, City of Irving, jobs posted
with the Texas Workforce Commission within the Irving area, and
GED course information.
- Visitors may pick up Parent Advisory pamphlets concerning
many areas of educational skills and goals.

Retired Teacher Helps Parents
Tommy Brock, retired IISD teacher, works in the Bowie Middle
School Parent Center on Thursdays, providing advice to parents. The
Bowie Parent Center is funded by a grant from Region 10 Education
Service Center.
