Recipient
Ginger Curtis, math teacher and coach was the recipient of the
A Day Made Better Grant. A Day Made Better was October 6, 2009. This is
a one-day event that awards more than 1,100 teachers across the United
States with over $1,000 in school supplies. Office Max joined with
Adopt-A-Classroom to create this award. Teachers spend an average of $1,000
of their own money on classroom supplies.

Irving Schools Foundation Grant Recipient
Kimberly Leitko, 7th grade English teachers, was awarded a
grant to attend the "Hooked on Meaning" workshop by Barry Lane.
