  • Show Your Spirit on College Colors Day, September 4

    College Colors Day is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting college-readiness as well as the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience by encouraging fans across America to wear their favorite college colors/gear.

    Irving ISD is excited to participate in this fun, district-wide event that is focused on college readiness. All students and employees are encouraged to dress in their favorite college attire on Friday, September 4.

  • Parent Orientation

    On September 17, teachers will be at school to share some wonderful information with our students and parents.  Come learn about daily schedules/routines, homework requirements, volunteering and more.

    Grades  3, 4, and 5---Boys and Girls


    AUDITIONS will be held at Stipes Elementary on Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18 from 3:15-4:30. Be prepared to sing a verse of MY COUNTRY ‘TIS OF THEE. This is for boys and girls in grades 3, 4, and 5.

    You MUST bring a copy of last year’s report card. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO AUDITION WITHOUT IT – EVEN FORMER MEMBERS OF THE CHORUS. A student must have no grades lower than a C and no citizenship grade lower than a B to be in the chorus.

    Rehearsals will be Thursday afternoons, beginning October1, from 3:30-4:45 PM. Dues for the year will be $75 and go toward a choir t-shirt, music, and incidental expenses. Dues are due at the first rehearsal.
