COSMETOLOGY (House 1)

Licensure: Cosmetologist

Shampoo & Conditioning Specialist, Manicurist, Facialist

Cost:

The cost for enrollment for the complete 2 year Cosmetology program is 125.00. The amount will cover the individual costs of the initial state permit, uniform, toolkit, smock, drape and plastic cape. Students enrolled in a one-year program will be charged 60.00 to cover costs for permit, uniform, plastic cape and other supplies for shampoo specialty. Students will be charged an additional fee for “Facial’s kit”. Students must provide a photo for the permit. Permit fee must be paid prior to the first day of class. Once the student is issued a permit, they will be eligible to work (limited capacity) in a salon. Fees for state licensing exam will be covered by Irving I.S.D. provided that the student completes and passes the exam within one month of their graduation from high school, or completes the test while enrolled in the course. Irving will provide transportation for testing for students that are eligible to test January-May. All fees must be paid prior to state licensing exam.
