Dress Code
Girls:
(No jeans, sweats or leggings)
Collared Shirt or Blouse (tucked in) Button up or polo style

All other coats, jackets, and sweaters may be worn to and from school but are not to be worn in the school building. Hooded sweatshirts are not permitted.
Footwear:
All students will wear socks and a rubber soled, closed (heel and toe) style shoe. These may be casual or dress shoes. Tennis shoes are preferred.
General Rules:
Shorts, skirts, and jumpers must be no higher than 2 inches above the knee.
Maroon, pink, orange, and yellow shirts are not part of the school uniform.
T-shirts are not part of the uniform. However, Davis t-shirt may be worn on Fridays only.
Pants must be classic style, straight or pleated.
Jeans are not permitted except on Fridays or on free dress days.
No oversized, baggy or frayed clothing will be permitted. No cut-offs are permitted.
Clothing that is torn is not permitted.
Uniform parts must be in a solid color. Patterns, logos, and designs on uniform parts are not permitted
In grades K, 1, and 2, if pants or shorts have belt loops, a belt is recommended and encouraged.
For students in grades 3-5, if pants or shorts have belt loops, a belt is required.
Fridays are Spirit Days! Students may wear a Davis t-shirt and jeans or shorts. No other t-shirts are permitted. These are not free dress days.
Students will be assigned an after school detention after their third uniform violation and each uniform violation after that in a six-week period.
