Lee Honored as Teacher of the Month

Lisa Lee, science instructional coordinator at Irving High School, was honored as Teacher of the Month for October. Lee is a graduate of Irving High and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.

She began her career at Crocket Middle School before leaving education to work at a chemistry laboratory. Lee returned to teaching with Dallas ISD in 1993, and joined the faculty at Irving High in 2006. Lee is certified and highly qualified in secondary physical education and in grades 6-12 secondary physical science.

Wood Recognized as Employee of the Month

Sheri Wood, secretary at the Secondary Reassignment Center (SRC), was recognized as Employee of the Month for October.

After spending 14 years in the private sector, Wood joined Irving ISD as a general aide in 2006. In March 2007, Wood became SRC campus secretary.
