Mr. John Andrew Moss

Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School

2014 Teacher of the Year

In his seventh year at de Zavala Middle School, this Irving ISD alumni is bringing his love of history to the classroom.

A rock star in the community, Mr. Moss also brought his love of music to de Zavala by starting the school’s drum line to enhance school spirit and get the students involved in something positive and constructive after school.
