2008 Elliott C.A.R.E. Event with Read-Aloud Day

 Students share their personal writing samples and books.  Students and staff dress as their favorite character in the school parade.  Kindergarten and fourth grades have the most students in character costumes!

Fifteen fifth graders competed for the honor of being chosen as the 2007-2008 Elliott Storytelling  Representative and Alternate. The six top storytellers shared their stories during Elliott's Building Storytelling Showcase.

2007-2008 Bluebonnet Program
61 students in grades 3, 4, & 5 vote online for their favorite Bluebonnet Title.
 

Down Girl and Sit: On the Road, by Lucy A. Nolan, was voted Elliott's second favorite book from the 2007-08 Texas Bluebonnet list.

Down Girl and Sit: On the Road is the Texas state 2007-2008 Bluebonnet winner.
