Don Sturdivant
Security Manager
Don has
been employed with the District since January, 1991, where he began
his career working as a Maintenance and Security Dispatcher. In
1993, he was promoted to the position of Energy Management
Specialist, where he helped launch the new energy management system
for the District. In 1996, he was promoted to the position of
Energy Manager and served in this capacity until 2007, when he
assumed the position of Security Manager. His main responsibilities
include overseeing a 51-member security department, putting into
place processes designed to create and maintain a safe, secure, and
orderly environment for teaching and learning, and providing
oversight for all security technological systems (such as Keyless
Entry, Closed Circuit Television, and the Raptor V-Soft visitor
identification system) |
