Norma Garcia – March 2008 Employee of the Month

Norma Garcia, Food Service technician and a head cook at Nimitz High School’s cafeteria, was recently honored as the March 2008 Employee of the Month. During the award ceremony at the March 10 Board of Trustees meeting, Ms. Garcia’s hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm were recognized and celebrated.

An IISD employee since 1999, Ms. Garcia is a leader on a cafeteria team that provides more than 850 student lunches each day. Ms. Garcia’s manager, Mona Navarrette, is thrilled to have Ms. Garcia on her high-performing team, and says that Ms. Garcia’s contributions are essential to the considerable success of the Nimitz High School cafeteria.

We congratulate Ms. Garcia on her being awarded the Employee of the Month recognition for March 2008!
