Meal Accounts now Accepted at Ala Carte Lines
at Secondary Schools

Thanks to an upgrade in technology equipment, all Express Lines and cash-only concepts (found in secondary schools) now accept funds from student meal accounts, including funds deposited via ParentOnline.

All middle schools have an Express Line, at which certain foods and beverages are sold, previously on an ala carte basis only.  Now, however, students can type their ID number into a 10-key pad, and use funds on their meal accounts to pay for Express Line items.  The Express lines still serve only ala carte foods, so students who qualify for free/reduced meals may not obtain their free/reduced price meal from the Express Line locations.

All high schools have Express Lines, and have an assortment of lines based on food nationality types, such as Italian, Mexican, etc.  While all of these lines have previously operated on an ala carte basis, these locations now permit students to type their ID number into a 10-key pad, and use funds on their meal accounts to pay for Express Line and other ala carte items.  The Express Lines and other ala carte lines still serve only ala carte foods, so students who qualify for free/reduced meals may not obtain their free/reduced price meals from these locations.

In summary, students and staff at secondary schools with funds on their meal accounts now have new meal options at lunchtime!
