FM Gilbert Accepts the Cool-Aid Challenge

This is for YOU, Irving ISD students!

Gilbert Elementary accepted the Cool-Aid Challenge and made their donation to the Irving Schools Foundation which benefits the students and teacher of Irving, Texas.  They also took the plunge so they could make their challenge!

Donations to Angel-Ricardo Fund

(Fund Created for Card Accident Victims)  With the passing of two Irving ISD students in a car accident, a fund has been created to help with expenses. Donations will be used to help with funeral costs for Gilbert Elementary School student Ricardo Hernandez and his brother, Austin Middle School student Angel Reyes. Funds may also be used to assist with hospital and related expenses for their brother and sister, who are both students in Irving ISD.


Attention College Students: Paperwork Deadlines

Remember if you received a scholarship from the Irving Schools Foundation, you must submit all required paperwork each semester in order to claim your scholarship for that semester.

There is a 2 week turnaround time to process and disburse your scholarship check. 

Fall 2013 deadline: September 30, 2013
Spring 2014 deadline: February 28, 2014
Fall 2014 deadline: September 30, 2014

Legacy Brick Plaza

The Legacy Brick Plaza, located near the Irving Schools Stadium main entrance will be a prominent Irving ISD landmark and source of pride to Irving ISD students, staff, alumni, and partners. 

The centerpiece of the Legacy Plaza is 1,980 bricks with each one bearing the name of the honoree. An alumnus may purchase a brick to commemorate his or her school years, a parent may honor a graduate or future graduate, or an alumnus may honor a teacher. A Legacy brick is a permanent means to honor an individual, group, or corporation that is special to you.
