Teacher of the Year Awards
Each year, the Irving School Foundation is proud to recognize excellence in education by awarding the Irving Independent School District (IISD) Teachers of the Year a cash award for their outstanding achievements in the classroom.
The IISD selects two representatives as IISD Teachers of the Year to compete for district and statewide recognition. These two representatives are recognized along with the campus honorees at a special School Board reception in the fall of each year.
The Irving Schools Foundation is pleased to announce that starting in Fall 2004, Calvary Church has pledged to support an ISF award of $500 to each of the two Teachers of the Year for the next ten years.
This Year, the Irving Schools Foundation will present the two District Teachers of the Year with a $500 award and each Campus Teacher of the Year will receive a $250 award. The following individuals and companies are supporters of the 2007-2008 Irving ISD Teacher of the Year award program:
