During the Kindergarten
year, students are exposed to lessons that accentuate higher-order
thinking skills. These lessons are placed into each child's
portfolio which is then used during the program's identification process.
Kindergarten students selected for the Gifted
and Talented program are introduced to activities with language
arts and mathematics during First
and Second grade
These enriching activates are delivered to identified
students as a collaborative effort between the classroom teacher and the
GT Instructional Specialist. |
