The Screening Committee

• Each school within the district has a GT Campus Screening/Selection Committee made up of a building administrator, counselor, and a GT teacher who receive nominations and collect other sources of information on students who are nominated for the Gifted and Talented Program. Elementary committees also include a Limited English Proficient representative. This committee meets and considers each student nomination on an individual basis.
   

• The campus screening/Selection Committee reviews ALL information pertaining to students who are eligible to be considered for participation in the Gifted and Talented Program.
