About HIPPY
Be Your Child's First Teacher
HIPPY is a free home-based literacy program for kids
age 3, 4, and 5. Home Instructors make weekly visits to teach parents
how to use the curriculum with their preschoolers. The
literacy based curriculum is used to help kids master school readiness
skills.

Improve interaction between parents and children
Prepare parents to be involved in schools
Stimulates the cognitive development of the child
Program Requirements

Child must be 3 or 4 years old before September 1st

Receive the visit of the Home Instructor one time per
week

Dedicate 15 minutes per day to the child

Attend monthly parent meetings
