Visitors
Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit Sam Houston Middle School. When visiting our school, please stop by the office, sign-in, and wear the visitors badge given to you while in the building. This process will help ensure the safety of our students and staff. All staff members have been instructed to redirect those individuals not wearing a visitors badge to the office.

Volunteers
There are two types of volunteers:

1.      businesses who want to create a partnership with a school

2.      individuals who want to volunteer to work with kids

Businesses

Businesses go to the Partnerships in Education webpage and fill out the partnership application form that is posted there.

The Partnerships in Education office will contact you about the school you wish to partner.  And how you and the school can best benefit from your time and efforts.

Individuals

Individuals who wish to work with kids (or make a donation to a campus) should contact the administration of the campus with whom they wish to be involved. Please contact Bonnie Richardson and she can assist you with your desire to volunteer.

NOTE:  All volunteers who have contact with students will be asked to complete a background check before beginning to volunteer.  (Form in English and Spanish: Criminal History Information Release Form.)
