1. About the Irving
ISD On-Line Interview
The
TeacherInsight
online interview is required ONLY
for
Teacher & Substitute Applicants.
We believe that teachers are critical to
student success, and we are committed to placing teachers in
positions where they and students will be most successful. As an
initial part of our process, we would like for Teacher and
Substitute Applicants to take a web-based interview designed by The
Gallup Organization. The interview comes from research conducted
with teachers viewed as most successful.

The
TeacherInsight interview will require approximately 40-50
minutes of uninterrupted time. If you do not have the time to
take the interview, you must create your login and password for
the Gallup site; then bookmark the site so you can revisit it at
a later time.

TeacherInsight consists of multiple choice, Likert-type items
(responses on a one to five scale) and open-ended items in which
you write your response.

Instructions are contained within the TeacherInsight interview.

Your
application is NOT considered complete until this interview is
finished.

If you
have previously taken the TeacherInsight interview for other
applications, you do not have to retake it. After completing the
appropriate IISD application, continue on into the Gallup
website and provide your user name and password. By answering a
few brief questions, Gallup will confirm your information and
transfer your results to IISD.
