The eight annual Irving Celebration of Excellence (ICE) is set for Thursday, February 28, 2008 in the Nimtz High School auditorium. Irving ISD students, parents, teachers and community partners will come together to honor students, teachers and schools who have demonstrated superior effort during the past year.

Although several months away, we invite you now to be a 2008 ICE Awards sponsor. There are four sponsor levels listed below. The Platinum level underwrites the cost of the crystal trophy and a $1,000 cash award to the campus of the winner to promote continued excellence.

Sponsors will receive coverage on the Irving Community Television Network which annually cablecasts the ICE Awards. Sponsors will also be included in all news advisories to the DFW news media.

If your company would like to participate, your sponsor contribution should be mailed to Christine Rushing, assistant superintendent for personnel and administration, at the address listed on this letterhead by January 12, 2007.

The company name or logo of sponsors will be printed in the ICE Awards Program and reserved seating will be offered to company representatives.

We hope you will plan to attend the ICE Awards and we would appreciate you serving as a sponsor.  We appreciate the role our partners play in supporting quality education for the youth of Irving.
