John Haley Wins Another State Award!

Congratulations to John Haley Elementary School!  The NCLB Division at the Texas Education Agency has announced that John Haley is being recognized with a Distinguished Progress Award, one of only 217 such schools in the state.   This award is for Title I, Part A schools who have moved their rating in the past three years from Acceptable to Recognized to Exemplary.

Congratulations to all the students and staff for their hard work and dedication to making this a great school for children.  Here is a photo of the staff luncheon given by the district for the exemplary schools.  Many city officials attended to extend their congratulations.
