In September, the students at Kinkeade Early Childhood School celebrated Freedom Day by participating in their annual Freedom Day Parade.  The students made festive “parade wear” including hats, shakers, and banners in red, white, and blue.  Patriotic music played as students marched around the parking lot, singing, clapping, and cheering.  As each class finished marching in the parade, students and school faculty gathered around the flag pole and said the Pledge of Allegiance together.  Following the pledge, we sang "The Star Spangled Banner". The event was wonderful for giving the students a beginning foundation for celebrating the freedoms we enjoy in our country!
