The Laminator Rules!
• Watch the film that is coming out of the back as much as possible,
especially when you first start- that’s when it gets stuck most of the time.
It’s really necessary to have 2 people working it for this reason.
• Leave a clip hanging off the extra film at the back-
• Make sure the laminator is fully warmed up before use.
• You can always feed a little scrap first before risking your materials.
• Only laminate permanent things.
• Run and feed slowly- med. speed is best. Space your items but don’t waste our
film! (Remember, it’s not recyclable!)
• Consolidate things you are laminating- I always have things you can add to
what you laminate if you don’t want to waste the film.
• For die-cut letters, it’s recommended that you laminate your paper first and
die cut after.
• Use the cutter provided on the machine to cut your materials off once they are
past that mark.
• Please replace the clip after cutting off your materials- it will be needed by
the next person.
• Do not try to laminate the thermal poster paper- it will go black.
• No student laminating.
