Library Calendar and Signing Up

          We maintain a library calendar on Microsoft Outlook that everyone can access in the public folders. You can not sign yourself up on the calendar online, but you can check it to see what kind of availability there is currently, or in the next several months if you are planning ahead. To get a class scheduled on the calendar, you could call me, email me, or come by and talk to me about signing up. The third is the best choice since it gives me the most information to be able to help you, but anything to get the students and teachers in the library will work for me!

Instructions for accessing the library calendar online:

1. From Outlook, make sure you have the Navigation Pane enabled on the left side (this can be done with the View menu if you don’t see it).

2. Go down to the Folder List pane on the bottom right of the screen and click on it.

3. Click on the plus sign beside Public Folders.

4. Then click on the plus sign beside All Public Folders to get another list.

          5. Scroll down to Lamar and click on the plus sign beside it.

          6. Click on the choice that reads Library Schedule.

7. Appointments and classes will show up on the calendar that pops up, but don’t try to enter anything. Email me if you want to bring a class or just send a student if it shows that the library is free.
