Safety Patrol is a volunteer group. The
students apply for a position. Each student is chosen by his or
her grades and conduct. A grade of 80 or better in all subject
areas and a grade of 90 or better in conduct is needed before
they are considered for patrol. Responsibility and
dependability are also considerations for acceptance on safety
patrol. They must be a team player and able to work with
other patrol members. The mission of safety patrol is to ensure that all
students, teachers, and parents are able to enter and exit the
school grounds safely. Safety Patrol is a big
responsibility and hard work. But it is a rewarding experience for
those who qualify, knowing that they can make a difference at M.
