Goals 2009 - 2010
 

Goals are based upon the District Board Goal #3: 

Strengthen all core and elective curricula and continue to implement procedures that insure full and equal access for all students to all core academic and elective classes, as well as extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

Continue with strategies for the Lively Elementary School to be a recognized leader in technology by broadening the integration of technology into teaching and learning and by pervasive use of technology 

Performance Objective:

These goals will be measured through observation of students, circulation statistics, collaborative lessons, and a tally of the total number of parents attending various library activities.

Student Achievement

  • Work collaboratively with each grade level once a six weeks to identify and create engaging and successful learning opportunities for students
     
  • Provide students with instruction and practice in an integrated curriculum with integrated research and learning skills that will be of continuing value to them in 85% of the library lessons.
     
  • Participate in collaborative units that are team-planned, team-taught, and team-assessed.

Literacy and Family Involvement

  •  Promote family access to the library through special events and a flexible library schedule during 50% of our family events.
