MacArthur Academic Decathlon Team Recognized The MacArthur Academic Decathlon students, coaches and principal were recognized for their participation in the Academic Decathlon program by the IISD Board of Trustees, Monday, April 21. MacArthur High School placed seventh in the regional meet. Team members were introduced by their coaches and principal, who also addressed the board in describing the team’s hard work and dedication. The MacArthur team includes Falaknaaz Ajani, Adrian Barry, Heather Bell, Jonas Beyene, Dylan Cowart, Daniel McCalip, Linh Nguyen, and Rachel Smith. Coaches are Sherry Martinez, Paula D’Spain, and Jason Lanningham.
