Blackboard
System Upgrade: Action Required
The
Irving ISD Blackboard System will be upgraded this summer and teachers need to export their courses from the old system. After the
new equipment is installed and running, then teachers will be able to
import their courses into the new system. Teachers can
easily do this before the summer to be sure to keep their course intact.
The district will provide an overlap when the new and old system are up,
but don't put this off and forget about your Blackboard courses.

Go Red
for Women Day
Teachers,
staff and students: Friday,
February 1 is national Go Red for
Women day. This is a movement dedicated
to raising awareness of heart disease in
women. Heart disease kills 460,000
women a year in the United States alone.
Here at MacArthur we would like to join
in this national awareness day by
wearing one of our favorite colors –
red. Friday is spirit day on campus so
this will be easy. Just wear something
red (whether it’s a shirt, pants, shoes,
jewelry, or whatever) to show your
support for women and the fight against
heart disease. |
