IISD submitted 54 projects to the state technology media competition sponsored by Texas Computer Education Association, 15 of which won awards.

According to TCEA officials, the association received more than 600 project entries created by more than 1400 Texas students. IISD had five first-place winners, five second-place winners, and five third-place winners.

Students who created the winning projects will be receiving medals in May along with a participation certificate and report with scores and judges comments.
