Now a days there
is a law that prevents cruel and unusual punishments.
· If you commit a small offense or if you
receive a minor traffic violation then you usually will have to pay the fine,
go to jail, or serve through community service.
· A major offense or traffic ticket is usually
a bigger fine or a bigger sentence in jail
· With MAJOR crimes there are you are denied a
bail and you have to pay with life sentence/amount of years sentenced by
judge, or death sentence
Other:
· When you commit a crime you have the right to
trail by jury
· Everybody is innocent until proven guilty
· You have the right to remain silent
