Description: I created this project by using Illustrator. First, I used a charcoal paintbrush to draw the shadow in black. Second, I used a chalk paintbrush to create “splatters” and the heart. For the splatters, I used deep shady colors to create a sense of sadness. For the heart, I used the same paintbrush but a different shade of color. I drew it with a brighter red to create the sense of love there is in the world and that out there somewhere there’s someone that will help us out in thick and thin. I created this project because I needed a way to get rid of my depression without wasting any good artwork. I needed something to bring out my feelings which created “Depth of Sadness”. This project is originally made by me, Lesly Alvarez.

The colors are nice and your theme is well represented. The contrast between the background and the main components of the piece is so close that is it a little difficult to distinguish between the two.
