710 Title: The Most Awesome Newsstand |
Category:
original art Grade Level: 2-3 |
| Description: We created the newsstand because we were studying a book called The Cricket in Times Square. We created it by going to Google Sketch-Up. We created a 2-D illustration of the newsstand. We used the description in the book of the Bellini’s newsstand. IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!! You can move things around no matter where!!! |

Incredible detail and understanding of elements in a newsstand. It is obvious that you "loved" this assignment, and the viewer was able to sense that with your detail. In the future, really check the balance of colors so that you use more contrast and not too many similar colors so that you can create an outstanding balance. |

The 2-D illustration of the newsstand is really awesome! The color choices are very earthy, but they could be made more striking, with the use of brighter tones. Be careful while labeling. The word "clock" did fit all the way. Great job overall! |
