Title: Solo si ve e stato l'amore

Category: photography
Grade Level: 11-12
Description: I took this photograph with my Nikon camera in downtown Dallas at the Crow Museum, the lighting and black and white style are what make this piece what it is. The statue pops from the background more than it would if it was in color. I learned alot of diffrent styles of asian art that night and now i can use what i've learned in my own art. The Italian translation is “if only there was love”.

This is an unique view. I would suggest a fill in off axis flash to open up the shadows of the figure and leaving the ceiling dark as it is.

A good graphic image. I like your perspective. A little more detail in the shadow areas would be pleasing. If you could go back and do it again would you do something differently ? Overall a very good photograph.

The photograph is wonderful! I love the choice of black and white. The patterns created by the roof windows really contrast well with the angular dynamics of the statue and the light and shadow are highlighted by the stark color palette. Do you know what most detracts from this photo? The description. The comma in the first sentence is unnecessary and incorrectly used. Use a period and make another sentence. "Alot" is not a word; "different" is spelled incorrectly, and you failed to capitalize the letter I several times in the last two sentences. Grammar is important. Details like those I pointed out are critical and will caused your work to be judged more poorly in comparison with others.

Great black and white graphic! Liked the way you framed this shot. You need to check your grammar - punctuation and capitalization!
