1941 Title: The Christmas Card |
Category:
product design Grade Level: 11-12 |
| Description: I began the project by opening the Paint.Net program. Using the line/curve (O) tool, I drew lines for the frame of every character. If I had to curve or edit a line, I clicked on one of the four squares highlighted on a line when selected. Some lines I made longer or thicker because some objects were more round than others were. After creating the frame of each character, I used the paint (F) tool to color inside the lines like a coloring book. I colored within the lines to portray a neat image. Then I used the ellipse (O) tool to draw the eyes and the spark on each eye. Then I used the color bucket tool to color the eyes. After creating each piece of original clip art, I inserted the images into a publisher card, which I opened in Microsoft Publisher. I chose a greeting card template from the provided templates. Then, I opened Paint. Net again and made the frames of each page on my Christmas card. I made each frame with the line/curve (O) tool, and colored inside the lines with a green or red color. I made my art because I wanted to create a creative piece of work for Mrs. Lobb’s Christmas card project. I learned that hard work pays off with a reward of kind and sincere compliments. I want others to learn to create anything and everything that comes into your mind. Bibliography: All work is original. |

Excellent manipulation of the art tools to create original art. The expressions on Santa and the reindeer are excellent. Nice border and balanced design. I can tell that you had fun creating this card. Did you write the greeting also? If not, where did it come from? |
