Entry Number: 1590 Title: Special Addition-Saving Earth Category: video 90sec-3min Grade Level: 4-5 Description: We created a video called Special Addition-Saving Earth. Here’s how we made it. We interviewed five teachers, then downloaded this to the computer. We filmed with the Canon ZR 500. We sliced and edited and created a movie. We used Pinnacle Studio Plus to make our movie. We created this project to inform students and teachers that they need to recycle and help save the earth. We learned many different ways to help save the earth, how to film and edit a movie. We wanted others to learn that it is important to recycle and help save the earth.

Saving the earth is very important. I'm glad you have created a video that you can share the information with. Next time you might involve students' perspective on how they are helping to save the earth. Varying your camera angles and adding subtitles with your different interviewees would make your movie more interesting.
