March of Dimes

Objective:  Discuss the role of genetics in prenatal development. Determine environmental factors affecting the development of the fetus.

Procedure:  Students work in groups and research the birth defects listed on the March of Dimes website. Students present the information to the rest of the class using presentation software, Movie Maker, or other electronic methods.
