Stocksquest (6 weeks)

Objectives: 
  Students get a feel of the “real world” experience of the stock market
  Students learn collaborative teamwork in a simulated real-life situation
  Students learn communication and decision-making skills
  Students analyze news events that influence stock prices
  Students research companies and choose stocks using online information
  Students trade stocks and monitor their portfolios online
  Students learn investing strategies such as high yield vs. high growth stocks
  Students learn report writing and group presentation skills

Procedure:
This stock market game and lessons can be played/taught for up to 6 weeks. The stocks can be traded before and after school and during lunch. The teacher can pick and choose from several different lessons available on the site.
