Physical Features of Africa
Objective: Students will be
able to identify and locate physical features and key terms in Africa.
They will be able to navigate Google Earth and understand the
relationships between all of the designated features of Africa.

Procedure: Students will be given a list of prominent features or
important key terms relating to the physical features of Africa.
They need to look up definitions of these terms and rewrite the
definitions in a way that makes sense to them.
Using Google Earth they will find and placemark these features on the
continent of Africa.
For each placemark, they must leave a brief description of the place or
term (and a picture if they like), and create a Google Earth tour as a study aid.
