Nimitz Staff - Facilitate Learning
The commitment of Nimitz teachers and staff remains unparalleled as they work to facilitate the education of America's rising generations.  Whether processing paperwork or teaching fundamental physics, every Viking staff member fulfills his role, providing his part to the body of Nimitz High School.  This maintains the backbone of the efficient inner-workings of the Viking experience, allowing students to excel, parents to support, and the Irving community to enhance the training of its youth.  Without the integral experience, expertise, and enthusiasm of the Nimitz staff, the community would be without one of its most gracious and passionate campuses.

Building Connections, Building Relationships

The Nimitz High School staff is committed to bridging the gap between the students, their parents and the educational experience.  Nimitz staff members accomplish this by providing numerous opportunities for the students.  Obviously there are a plethora of factors that need to be taken into account when teaching students, but the main goal of our staff is to first develop relationships with them.  Through this relationship, we will be able to guide, direct and correct any behaviors that we need the students to be familiar with.  The only true motivation that you have is when you have a vested interest in something.  So, in order for our teachers to be motivated, and in order for our students to be motivated, we must create a positive vested relationship between the two.
