Family, Friends and Fun...
Three of the most important
things to me in life are family,
friends and fun. I
believe that the passion that
drives us is directly affected
by those that have influences in
our lives. Three of the
most influential people in my
life are my parents and my wife.
Without them I wouldn't be who I
am today. Thanks to their
guidance and support, I have
been able to pursue a life long
goal of working with others with
an emphasis in technology.
Education and Background...
After receiving a high school
diploma from Nimitz High School,
I continued my
education at The University of
Texas at Arlington. After
4 years of blood, sweet and
tears, I finally graduated with
a degree in Management of
Information Systems. With
a declining job market at that
time, I chose to pursue
teaching/coaching as a career.
I have been
teaching/coaching
for the past 5 years at Nimitz
High School. In the fall
of 2006 I interviewed for one of
the ITS positions on campus.
In November of 2006 I was hired
as an ITS (Instructional
Technology Specialist). I
have been working in this
capacity for approximately half
a year. I enjoy the time
that I spent in the classroom,
but this is what I feel God has
placed me here to do. I
married my high school sweet
heart, Anna Marie. She is
the love of my life and the
reason why I get up every
morning and try to become a
better man. One of the
greatest things that she has
taught me is how to be PATIENT.
Something I struggle with daily.
In April of 2007, God blessed us
with an addition to our family.
We are currently 18 weeks
pregnant with our first child.
We are extremely excited about
the opportunity we have been
given to become parents.
